UP members are invited to Women in Technology's first networking lunch for 2008 -  Deborah Crowe, Run The Red And Emily Loughnan, Click Suite.

We are delighted to have Deborah and Emily join us to talk about their journeys and involvement in two Wellington start up companies.Deborah Crowe is a founder, principal shareholder and director of Run The Red. She has 20 years experience in telecommunications, ICT, and project management and 10 years as an entrepreneur. Deborah joined Run The Red in a full time capacity in March 2004 as the Operations Director and has been the Managing Director since October 2006. Her primary roles are driving the strategic direction of the company, and the day to day running of the company. Deborah has an Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Canterbury University, has a Graduate Diploma in Design, a Diploma in Facilitation and has previously been a PMP Certified Project Manager. Run The Red plays a unique role within the technically demanding mobile value added services sector and the creative and dynamic advertising sector.  Run The Red has pioneered mobile marketing, mobile connectivity to third parties and Premium SMS services in New Zealand over the last 7 years and has established concepts and product portfolio proven across a range of international markets.RTR Credentials:*     5th in Deloitte Fast 50 2007, 1st in technology category for New Zealand*     36th Deloitte Fast 500 Technology - Asia Pacific - 2007 http://www.runthered.co.nz/

Emily Loughnan comes from a television production background spanning fifteen years. Five years at NZ On Air commissioning television programmes, including "Shortland Street", for a variety of New Zealand audiences. Emily & partner Rex McIntosh started Click Suite in 1993 and it has continued to go from strength to strength, making a wide variety of interactive media. Click Suite has dominated local awards since its inception, have attracted various business accolades, and have won twice in the New York Festivals for their work at Te Papa and for the on-line learn to sail game "Tactics". Most recently they won the Multimedia equivalent of an OSCAR - an EMMA - a prestigious European award for their work for a London client. http://www.clicksuite.co.nz/
