What We Do

Unlimited Potential provides opportunities for meeting and sharing with others in a relaxed and friendly environment through Events and forums.  We have a lot of speakers lined up, but we need you to tell us who you want to hear from, and the opportunities you want to explore.  We organise guest speakers to speak on anything and everything ICT.

Who we are

We are a networking organisation who wants to create and participate in a stimulating Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry in Wellington.  Our membership consists of passionate, innovative people with a broad range of skills and interests. Our members work in every type of ICT role, including startups, corporates, education, and government departments. You never know who you might meet at an UP event.

We share an interest in seeing people realise their potential for innovation in ICT. We are people like you: we desire flexibility, independence, creativity, and to enhance our skills. We realise that life in the ICT industry is more than what happens at our desk.

That is why a primary goal of Unlimited Potential is to encourage friendships between like-minded individuals, so that they can learn about the working environment of their peers, and what it's like to be doing different things, at a different company, at a different desk.

Why we do it

We believe it is vital that a local organization facilitates the growth and development of young (and young at heart) professionals at the forefront of ICT in Wellington.  We get a kick out of making cool stuff happen and seeing others realise their potential.

Because no matter how technically excellent we are, it's still about people. You've heard it before, it's not what you know but who you know. Well actually, it's probably a bit of both, which is why Unlimited Potential exists.

How do you keep up?

We work in a highly dynamic and diverse industry. Things are ALWAYS changing. How do you keep up?

We believe it's through people, be it peers or those more experienced than ourselves.

Unlimited Potential will provide opportunities for you to meet with peers, ICT leaders, and the up and coming of the industry. At the end of the day, it'll be what we make it.  Free events - but only for members
