What an amazing year for UP!  We will be celebrating it in style at our AGM Thursday 1 November with a stimulating programme, and food and drinks courtesy of the Mayor of Wellington (who will be in attendance).

The 2007 Annual General Meeting of Members of Young IT Professionals Network Incorporated trading as Unlimited Potential (the "Society") will be held at the Wellington Convention Centre, 111 Wakefield Street, Wellington on Thursday, 1 November 2007, commencing at 6.00pm. Join us from 5:30pm for networking.

A big crowd at the AGM celebrated a great year at UP with an opening by her worship the mayor Kerry Prendergast, and presentations from Mike Brown of WebStock and Tim Norton of planHQ. See the photos and the Chairman's Report (443 KB Adobe PDF).

This evening we went to a meeting of 'Unlimited Potential', which is a networking sort of group for people in the IT field.  It seems to focus particularly on web technologies,  ... but from what we can tell all types were there. ... I've found one good source for free beer!
